Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of data integration requirements and develop the pipeline of data from raw to curation layers including the cleansing, transformation, derivation and aggregation of data.

  • Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions

  • Communicate effectively and work with the multi-location development teams and self-manage own work

  • Support in the development of technical solutions to business problems

The Team

Our Health Technology team implements repeatable solutions to solve our government clients’ most critical health technology related issues. We advise on, design, implement and deploy solutions focused on government health agencies “heart of the business” issues including claims management, electronic health records, health information exchanges, health analytics and health case management.

Our clients seek a fresh perspective on how to leverage reusable, interoperable and flexible solutions that will enable them to reduce costs, improve health outcomes and respond to public health crises. Professionals will use their deep health, government and technology consulting experience to strategically help solve our client’s technology challenges.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in computer-related field or equivalent work experience

  • 6+ years of experience creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture, including optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data

  • Maintain high quality documentation about data structures in shared data governance tool for the business to access.

  • Collaborate with data owners, data stewards, analysts, software developers and DBAs.

  • Experience with Apache Spark, Python, SQL or relational databases, Hadoop, Databricks and data pipeline management in Spark for batch and streaming.

  • Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets. Experience in AWS RDS Aurora, PostgreSQL, Redshift; Oracle and Postgre/SQL engines preferred

  • Travel up to 20% annually (While 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
