Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
Coordinate with Business Relationship Managers and Service Line Leaders for intake of new opportunities/initiatives into the EAS Portfolio
Support confirmation of start-up and execution funding for the opportunities/initiatives
Engage Corporate, Business Unit, and/or Functional Finance teams for setup of charging mechanisms aligned to the funding source for the opportunity/initiative
Partner with PMO Project Managers and Finance Professionals in creation and approval of financial business cases
Translate opportunity/initiative cost estimates / basis of estimates to monthly financial spend plans, which will be used for regular financial/operational support and reporting
Provide weekly and monthly labor reports (from potentially a number of different labor reporting sources) to PMO Project Managers, as input for monthly financial analysis
Facilitate analysis of accurate labor charging for opportunities/initiatives
Support tracking of 3rd party invoice / payment status as associated with opportunity/initiative budget to actuals analysis
Provide monthly financial actuals, including estimated actuals, to PMO Project Managers and drive Latest Estimate (LE) / Estimate to Complete (ETC) / Estimate at Complete (EAC) discussions
Engage with PMO Project Managers and appropriate Finance Professionals for year-end accruals and carry-forward funding needs.
Understand and related overall details of an opportunity/initiative to cost and schedule elements to ensure accurate reporting for roll-up at the portfolio level
Support reporting of project status/health to our Business Relationship Managers, Service Line Leaders, and Key Stakeholders
Comprehend planned business value for an opportunity/initiative to ensure accurate reflection in the portfolio, as well as gauge with the PMO Project Managers any risk to value based on cost or schedule considerations
Support PMO Project Managers in the identification and reporting of cost and schedule related risks as part of the overall opportunity / initiative risk analysis
Continuously assess current financial operational support process to identify opportunity to streamline within EAS as well as across ES
Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
Minimum 10+ year’s work experience in IT Portfolio Management and IT Project Financial Management
Experience with SAP Finance module, including basic transactions that support obtaining monthly cost and labor charging details
Strong understanding of company financial policy as it relates to development and building of DT solutions; Basic Government Accounting practices, as they relate to the financial management of a project
Ability to balance technical/cost/schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction
Ability to support multiple opportunities/initiatives simultaneously, while adhering to the company’s financial reporting cadence
Knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and applied knowledge in Agile Performance Management
Experience in using MS Office suite of products (MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,325 to $178,875. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
