Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

The Full Stack Developer will lead the development of major features and implementations, including helping to design/develop the architecture for those features. They will be coding, testing, documenting, and helping to ensure successful deployment of that code. Reviewing pull requests from other engineers will be commonplace, as will pair programming and other light mentorship duties. Our product and technical leaders collaborate frequently with engineers and will expect them to provide insightful feedback on the process, architecture, implementation, and quality of the product. Finally, troubleshooting issues in a timely manner is critical to ensuring the stability of the platform and our client implementations.

The US Systems Engineering Offering delivers large scale software applications and integrated systems and assists its clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. The practice aims at developing service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems. It would focus on key client issues that impact the core business by delivering operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s in Sciencein Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalentwork experience

• 6+yearshands onsoftware development experience – specifically developing web applications and client/serverapplications

• 6+yearsofJAVA programingexperience

• Hands on experience developing web applications utilizing JAVA Enterprise Edition (J2EE), XML, or Web Services at an enterpriselevel

• 6yearsof experience working withJ2EE Framework components such as Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Logging mechanism (ex. Log4J), Transaction Management and Thread Management

• 6yearsof experience writing SQL/Functions/Procedures in transactional database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2

• Journey level understanding of developing Web-services, HTML UI, CSS and JavaScript

• Experience with Eclipse IDE and Spring Framework

  • Travel up to 20% annually (While 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
