We have strong shared values and the power of purpose to make a real difference.
Who are Deloitte?
We are driven to create an impact that matters at every opportunity.
Over our 175-year history, we have built a reputation for impactful delivery across audit and assurance, consulting, financial advisory, risk advisory, tax, and technology services. Supported by a strong leadership team, and member firms from over 150 countries across the globe, Deloitte New Zealand is in the business of solving complex problems. Innovation is the oxygen that powers us, enabling us to embrace the unknown, the chaos, the mayhem, because we know this is where the magic can happen.
Our workplace and culture
Our purpose is to make an impact that matters. We are driven by our desire to create positive outcomes for our clients, communities, and people. Everything we do is with intent – the intent to make a meaningful difference.
Our shared values are at the heart of everything we do. Living these values, which include ‘taking care of each other’ and ‘fostering inclusion’, is essential to ensuring everyone feels included at work and able to reach their full potential.
For us to succeed and thrive as an organisation, we understand the importance of creating a culture where diverse perspectives matter and where everyone is given an equal opportunity to grow and develop.
About this team:
Are you one of those rare talents who can combine creative, innovative thinking, with high-quality design and technical skills? If you are, then here’s the opportunity to grow your career and make your impact with a truly global brand.
We’re looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our Creative Team based in Deloitte’s spectacular waterfront headquarters in the heart of Wellington’s CBD. The ideal candidate will have graduated with a recognised design/visual communications qualification, had exposure to creating commercial work, or had work experience in a design or communications studio.
Your typical day will include:
You’ll be working closely with and being mentored by our Design Manager in the Wellington studio, ultimately reporting to the Creative Director. The role will see you involved in a wide range of creative disciplines – digital, video, animation, advertising, publications, presentations, and event comms. Our core focus is ‘digital first’, so you must be equally adept creating communications for the digital space as you are with traditional print media.
As part of the wider Clients & Marketing team, you’ll be helping to deliver creative design solutions to a high standard of quality with the purpose to enhance the Deloitte brand and deliver business results. Plus, the sheer diversity of work means you could be creating communications for a national event one day and a client presentation the next.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to make a start to their career with a truly global brand. The Deloitte culture is to develop, challenge, innovate and inspire, so it’s a great place to grow your career and expand your skills by learning from experienced communications professionals in a team environment.
You are someone with:
Deloitte rewards
We hold a simple belief – that our people’s hard work should be recognised and rewarded beyond their remuneration.
We have reimagined what ‘work’ looks like and how we can empower all our people to create a work experience that is distinct to their needs. Founded on concepts of trust, balance, wellbeing and the importance of personal connection, this is the Deloitte Experience.
We offer
If you’re ready to make an impact, please submit your CV, a PDF portfolio (or a link to an online portfolio) of your best work, plus a covering letter as to why you believe you should be considered for the position.
