Delta Air Lines leads the global travel industry with its SkyMiles loyalty program, delivering on a rich suite of benefits and experiences for over 100 Million Members worldwide. SkyMiles is core to Delta’s thoughtful, reliable, and innovative brand promise, developing and rewarding high-value customers at every point along the travel journey. For five years in a row, U.S. News and World Report named SkyMiles a Best Travel Rewards Program in the #2 spot, but we want more.
The SkyMiles team is seeking an individual to support Member acquisition growth, manage performance tracking for loyalty metrics, and improve ROI through smart marketing plans. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, passionate, and a quick study. This position will regularly interact with various commercial teams within Delta to further SkyMiles performance and implement initiatives.
The position reports to the Manager – SkyMiles Customer Engagement & Growth and will be based at Delta Headquarters in Atlanta.
Primary Functions:
Work cross-divisionally to grow SkyMiles acquisitions among customer segments
Build, maintain, and optimize Tableau dashboards to track key metrics, loyalty trends and provide insights on performance
Perform data driven analytical reviews of promotions to develop recommendations for future programs, improve ROI, reduce cost, and contribute to Delta’s overall customer value proposition
Provide innovative ideas to support the acquisition strategy in collaboration with SkyMiles Communications and Marketing
Develop, implement, and measure meaningful targeted promotions and campaigns to shift share to SkyMiles
Develop highly effective cross-divisional relationships and provide creative thinking to achieve goals with key teams including Customer Brand Experience, In-Flight Services, Airport Customer Service, and Reservations
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, project management, and problem-solving skills
A passion for Delta, SkyMiles, and delivering an industry-leading customer experience
Proven excellence in written and oral communication skills
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities at any given time, and leveraging resources across divisions
Must be able to work collaboratively and drive results in a cross-functional environment
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, resourceful, and handle ambiguity
Must be performing satisfactorily in current position
Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience; Degree in relevant field preferred (Business, Finance, Marketing, Management or related)
Technical skills preferred include advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, database querying, and SAS/SQL/Tableau
