Ref #: 7820 How you’ll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Assists Pilot Selection with general administrative duties, which include but are not limited to:
Welcoming all pilot candidates
Collection of all candidate paperwork
Copying/Scanning documents with varying number of pages
Answer phones, interview callers, refer calls to appropriate staff members, and reply to voice mails
Managing walk-in traffic
Check and answer Pilot Selection email
Scheduling of candidate interviews
Monitor and purchase office supplies using purchasing account
Manage inventory of interview supplies
Prep and maintain the office space and interview rooms
Pick up, organize and distribute mail
Identify and makes recommendations to leaders on strategies for improved processes/procedures
Embrace diverse people, thinking and styles
Consistently make safety and security, of self and others, the priority What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Must have a history of high performing work
Must be able to provide attention to detail, be organized, methodical and able to maintain strict confidentiality
Should demonstrate self-initiative and able to work with minimal direction
Must communicate effectively in written and verbal formats
Will have to interface at all leadership levels within and outside of the organization
Must be able to effectively use MS suite of applications at least at an intermediate level
Pace of work flow will require the ability to plan, organize and effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all processes and procedures
Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant is preferred
An understanding of/experience in Flight Operations
A diverse background in Deltas various operational departments
Knowledge of Deltas processes and systems is a plus
