Vehicle Support Technician (Job ID: 4523)Job Summary:Using Standard Work Practices, cleans, disinfects and restocks ambulances.Issues vital equipment to crews. Assists with inventory and restocking ofParamedic Division central stockroom. May occasionally drive ambulances innon-emergency mode to repair facilities or fuel pumps to refuel them and driveto other facilities to retrieve equipment. Works as part of a team to prepareambulances for service in the field.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Knowledge of personal protective equipment and how to follow appropriatesafety precautions at all times.Ability to follow written Standard Work and additional oral instructions.Ability to multi-task and interact with customers while continuing to stay ontask with other duties.Able to problem solve as situations arise.Detail oriented and able to handle repetition and standard work routines.Education:Requires a high school diploma or GED certificate.Experience:Typically, one year of work experience.
