He angitūtanga | About the role
As the Board Support Officer, you will support the Chatham Islands Conservation Board, providing a high standard of administrative services. You will also support the Statutory Manager with board-related tasks.
The position will be focussed on:
If you are not located on the Chatham Islands, there will be a requirement to travel 2 – 3 times a year to the Chatham Islands for meetings.
This role offers the flexibility to work from home at times, as well as the opportunity to work flexible hours (around the school run for example).

The salary range for this position is $58,314 to $73,401 pro-rata with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory – this includes holding a valid work visa that covers the whole period of employment.
