The Geraldine/Raukapuka Operations team has an exciting opportunity within our Biodiversity workstream with a fixed term position of 22 months with an end date 31 August 2023.

He angitūtanga: About the Role
As a Ranger, Biodiversity you will be joining our talented Biodiversity team carrying out critical natural heritage conservation work programmes.
Your day-to-day work will take you across the district, carrying out biodiversity work on and off public conservation land, according to work plans.
While you will be actively working across a range of different projects, two of the advertised roles will focus on pest plant and animal control.
Your skills and experience in natural heritage work will see you not only doing conservation work but also teaching, coaching, supporting and/or overseeing Rangers, community groups and volunteers doing conservation work in the field.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in the field or in the office and wants to make a difference for conservation in South Canterbury.
