The Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD) in the Department of Education and Training provides innovative and integrated Information Management and Technology (IMT) for both the corporate areas of the Department and also all government schools in Victoria.
Software Developer | Ongoing/Full-Time
An exciting opportunity exists for an ongoing Software Developer (VPS4) role in Applications Development Unit.
If you are an enthusiastic personnel who is keen to learn new technology, has great application development skills on CRM Platforms and wants to join us on the journey of shaping future of IMTD platforms, then this role is for you.
The Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD) in the Department of Education and Training provides innovative and integrated Information Management and Technology (IMT) for both the corporate areas of the Department and also all government schools in Victoria.
The purpose of this role is to execute full software development life cycle within the Salesforce suite of applications.
In this role, you will contribute to the support CRM applications built on Salesforce platform.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Accountable for the Salesforce solution delivery from design to ready for business use in production.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers and functional analysts on functional and technical requirements.
- Provide estimates for the scope of work, discussing options and recommending solutions.
- Review code and run initiatives to improve the overall health of the platform.
- Review Salesforce seasonal releases and identify new features that can be enabled for the business.
