WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Receptionist you will be part of a multi-person support staff team assisting protective service workers by providing front office support, preparing and filing paperwork, entering information into the electronic record system, processing mail, faxes, subpoenas, etc. This position will also be the primary contact for vehicle maintenance requests, including scheduling service and tracking mileage for the branch.
WORKING CONDITIONS
You may interact with a wide range of people including some who have experienced trauma, exhibit challenges in controlling their anger, or other unexpected emotions… This position has a flexible work schedule consisting of a 5-day workweek of 8 hours per day, and occasional compensated overtime may be required.
THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY:
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of general clerical experience, one year of which included typing, word processing, or other experience generating documents;
OR
An Associate degree;
OR
Graduation from a private school of business with a certificate AND one year of general clerical experience.

Essential Attributes:
Experience in a fast-paced front office environment, with excellent time management skills.
Experience directing calls, managing schedules, and collaborating with diverse team members.
Ability to communicate effectively with the public, service providers, and clients in person, over the telephone, and in writing respecting cultural and ethnic differences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and database software programs to file, organize and retrieve data.
Experience working with and applying various policies, rules, and regulations to perform duties of the position.
Additional Requirement:
Successful candidates for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the following convictions are likely to result in being disqualified for this position: Felony Convictions, Computer theft, identify theft and fraud. CJIS Clearance is done at the conditional job offer.
