Tēnā koutou, Haere mai ki Te Puna Mātauranga
The National Library Te Puna Matauranga o Aotearoa is recruiting for a Librarian role in the Digital Collection Services Team, based in the Alexander Turnbull Library. In this role you will also be working across teams in the ATL on the following activities:
The Library’s image ordering service has recently been redesigned to share the processing of digitisation requests across the Research Services and Digital Collections teams. In this role you will help embed these new processes, identify any necessary training needs and work collaboratively to continuously improve the service and processes. You will be the main point of contact for coordinating requests with the Imaging Services team, and troubleshooting online orders and delivery with the National Library Online team. As part of the Digital Collections Team, you will work in a team of digital specialists, with opportunities to grow and develop your skills and expertise.
To be successful in the role you will have:
Ideally you will have a tertiary degree and a library qualification, or current study towards a library qualification or equivalent in a related field. Applicants without a library or related degree should demonstrate a strong combination of experience, training and motivation that will enable them to meet the requirements of the role.
If that sounds like you – we’d love to hear from you!
