Role Purpose:
Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists are seeking a Finance Assistant to work within the Finance Department and to be responsible for the processing all company bank transactions, supporting the data collection and processing for AP and AR transactions, and support payroll team providing cover for holidays and activity peaks.
Key Accountabilities:
To accurately follow all finance procedures and have attention to detail when performing them and other administrative duties.
To follow all finance timelines for daily, weekly and month end tasks, delivering your work output in the correct format at the correct time.
To work within a team and communicate with all external and internal parties in a professional, prompt, and polite manner.
Key responsibilities:
1. Record company bank transactions daily on Sage.
2. Circulate reports on daily lodgements and payments.
3. Support AP in the entry of PO’s and processing supplier invoices
4. Support Payroll with weekly reconciliations and data analysis
5. Assist in preparation of the monthly finance and payroll analysis reports.
6. Other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Finance Manager.
Training / Skills Pre-requisites:
Essential:
Previous Experience working within a Finance Department (Minimum 2 years)
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
High Attention to Detail
Excellent Numerical Skills
Excellent Verbal and Written English
Strong communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills
Desirable:
Part qualified accountant
