Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Perform monthly reconciliations, reviews and audits of Resident Trust Accounts. * Maintain monthly reconciliations related to Petty Cash. * Oversee full cycle accounting for small Non-Profit within QuickBooks. * Analyze Insurance invoices and report discrepancies. Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations. * Update internal check registers, schedules, and policies as directed. * Assist the CFO and Controller with facility support and communication. * Provide Accounts Payable backup when requested by the CFO or Controller. * Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as requested by the CFO or Controller. Skills and Qualifications Must be self-motivated and capable of exceeding in a team environment. * Must demonstrate accuracy in daily work and other projects. * Must be proficient in use of Excel Spreadsheets and MS Word. Must demonstrate good critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills. * Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departamental pressures. * Experience in Healthcare is a plus. * Experience with PointClickCare or QuickBooks is a plus. Education A Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required. Degree(s) must be from a credible college or university A minimum of 2-years’ experience in accounting is required.:
