Position Summary:
Supports accounts payable operations by processing accounts payable documents, general ledger coding, maintaining vendor information, act as liaison to business services staff, filing documents and general clerical duties. Accomplishes accounting department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.:

Essential Job Functions:
This facility expects their employees to promote an atmosphere of teamwork with other employees and hospitality and comfort for its residents. Therefore, the following list of duties is not all-inclusive:

Functions and Duties

• Receive invoices by e-mail, fax, and office mail and downloads from vendor web pages.
• Process invoices and code with general ledgers codes as needed.
• Enter invoices into Point Click Care software by date, fiscal period and other criteria.
• Scan invoices into facility shared document folders by vendor name.
• Set up new vendors.
• Call vendors or facilities for copies of invoices or additional information
• Interact business office staff and act as a liaison.
• Supporting claims processing department as required, including scanning of documents.
• Sort and distribute office mail
• Maintains accounting records by making copies; filing documents.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility records/information.
• Perform office clerical duties.
• Other duties as directed by the supervisor.
