What would a typical day look like as an Order Management Specialist at Digicomm International?

Orders for equipment come in from our customers, the largest cable operators and service providers all over the world. You would work collaboratively with a great team to enter the orders accurately into our system quickly and follow them all the way through to delivery. When issues (e.g. customs, shipping, etc.) arise, you’d work to propose solutions. And you would leave the office every day knowing that your work enables our customers to seamlessly run their businesses.

What we’ll expect from you and what you’ll be doing:

• Using attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and critical thinking to process and enter the complex domestic and international orders we receive throughout the day into our system (Sage 100)
• Processing international orders including Commercial Invoices and required export documents
• Reviewing orders carefully for accuracy
• Continuously learning via research and contact with government agencies to maintain subject matter expertise and updated documentation on export regulations, customs, and other areas of knowledge related to international business
• Proactively providing Digicomm’s Customer Service Analysts accurate and updated information on orders, so that they can provide phenomenal customer service
• Occasional weekday and weekend work

Requirements:

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• 1 to 2 years of office or clerical experience in a customer focused environment
• Preferred but not required: Bilingual in Spanish (especially native speaking, with skills in business writing); Associate’s degree; Customs regulations, and/or world of electronics model number tracking system

Pay: $15.00 – $24.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Employees are currently working remotely three days a week and the other two days are spent in the office. Temperature checks and face masks are required to be in the office. Training will be in the office for two to four weeks.
