Responsibilities
Methodist Hospital , a member of Dignity Health, is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join their hospital staff. The Registered Nurse provides, coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team, providing leadership, personal/professional development, and conducting him/herself professionally.
The incumbent shall demonstrate behaviors consistent with the core (Mercy) values in support with Methodist Hospital and the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Current CA RN license
Recent nursing student graduates ONLY. Applicants must have NO previous RN experience: since this is a training program for new grads who have NEVER worked as an RN or IP RN before.*Exception – we will consider RNs with recent work experience related to pandemic staffing needs
Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
Basic Cardiac Monitoring competency completion administered through the Collaborative Learning Center/Facility Educator must be completed within 6 months of hire.
Telemetry certificate preferred
