We are looking for an experienced, detailed orientated, and financially minded accountant to join our team. This is a critical position in our accounting department and will play an important role in a variety of areas, to include: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other financial reporting functions. This candidate will be joining a team of friendly and committed professionals and will assist us in the creation and adherence of internal policies and procedures. We are looking for someone who can work well in a team environment or independently. Working under the direction of the CFO, this position will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate accounting and payroll activities. We are looking for someone seeking a long-term position and feels they can bring a positive impact to our accounting department.

Work Experience & Skills

Minimum of four years of successful and proven accounting work experience – including both an excellent working knowledge of QuickBooks and general accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Must also demonstrate and be able to perform the following:

• Highly organized – with the ability to think critically and work independently
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting information and financial records
• Outstanding written and verbal skills – presenting a consistent courteous and professional tone at all times
• Polite and excellent customer service skills – including listening and navigating to a successful solution
• Work effectively and cooperatively with other team members and stakeholders
• College degree in related field (preferred)
• Must have dependable transportation
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
