Job Description Responsible for managing the overall activities of an operations department. Develops and maintains strategies to achieve business performance goals, world class customer experience, and increase profitability. Responsible for annual business planning, budget planning and continuity for the department, and assisting with strategic planning. Attracts, develops, and retains the best workforce in the industry. Develops and coach’s teams to be able to identify, manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manage risk within the teams you oversee. How You’ll Do It + Manage business operations and achieves results for the assigned organization. + Achieve business results through strategic planning, establishing and monitoring performance metrics, managing profits and losses, controlling expenses and managing costs. + Leverage understanding of internal business operations and best practices in order to manage the department successfully, and meet broader business performance goals. + Drive and support strategic initiatives. Develop and execute long-range strategic plans and objectives to impact business results. + Analyze reports, identifies needs for improvement, and implements operational strategies to increase performance. + Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. + Motivate, support, and provide active management attention to assigned operations teams to achieve best-in-class employee effectiveness and satisfaction. + Direct and oversee coaching and development within the department. Participate in and/or provide input to department/center talent management initiatives. + Develop training content inventories and training strategies aligned to leadership expectations to ensure employee preparedness. + Manage the daily strategic and delegated tactical training tasks to ensure readiness.
