The Retention Department: The Customer Retention Department is unique in that it has elements of marketing, operations, strategy, and analytics. The department is highly visible with the Executive Leadership team and drives multiple strategic initiatives focused on retaining and monetizing DISH’s existing customer base. Analytics: We never stop learning about our customers and our business. Our analytical prowess creates wins for both customers and Dish. Marketing: We create and manage all existing customer communications (web, email, print, television commercials and video elements). Strategic Partnerships: Our team partners with television networks, producers and celebrity talents to create large scale marketing campaigns that make DISH more valuable to our customers. Operations and Project Management: Everyone in our group is hands on when it’s time to operationalize our ideas. We work cross-functionally with business partners from all areas of DISH to implement new initiatives and strategies. We. Work. Together. Primary Responsibilities: Our team focuses on using advanced analytics to create the strategies that retain and engage Dish customers. Our analysts have a huge impact on the performance of the broader business. Here’s what you can do with Dish: Drive Decision-Making: Use coding, analytics, and advanced modeling to understand project success, areas of opportunity, and make informed, strategic business decisions. Strategic Leadership: Present weekly to the President of DISH TV and other high level executives to gain alignment on business direction and to implement effective strategies. Maximize Customer Lifetime Value: Develop and deploy monetization, marketing, retention and upsell strategies to increase the profitability of our customer base, improve engagement, and ultimately reduce churn for DISH. Creative Business Development: Think creatively and analytically to drive revenue and cash flow for DISH. Lead the strategy to upgrade customers to the latest equipment, and drive engagement with the DISH product. Skills, Experience, and Requirements: The keys to your success at DISH are your pride, curiosity, sense of adventure and desire to win every single day. A successful candidate will also have most of the following: Bachelor’s degree (4-year) with an interest that demonstrates logical thinking 2+ years experience in a data-driven analytics or strategy role Experience building models, forecasts, budgets and dynamic reports with SQL, Tableau and Excel that provide meaningful direction and insight.
