Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution Hiring for Content Planning Star+ Job at Ciudad de México Full Time

Job Summary:

In this role, the Content Planning will be responsible for scheduling content on Star+ and prioritizing it following interests per region/country, seeking to give users the best and easiest UX possible.

Responsibilities:

• Works with ESPN Program Planning team to coordinate and input long and short-range program schedules in NCS and Content Scheduler or other content management systems as needed for assigned Star+ region.
• Maintains detailed and accurate program schedules in NCS and Content Scheduler or other content management system as needed.
• Executes and distributes program schedule changes.
• Coordination of Sports priorities with Merchandising, Customer Service and Anti-piracy teams.
• Works with Production to confirm weekly live studio show schedules.
• Reviews weekly schedules for PR communications.
• Reviews monthly and weekly schedules for Marketing campaigns.
• Supports or conducts research and background reports to enhance the overall acquisition and planning efforts in a particular sports category.

Basic Qualifications:

• Demonstrable superior communication, organization and computer skills.
• Strong sports knowledge required.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work under pressure with constantly changing deadlines.
• Team player, able to build strong partnerships.
• Ability to work under pressure in a complex changing environment.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the scope and operations of ESPN’s networks.
• Advanced level of English and Spanish is necessary. Portuguese is a plus.
