Salary: $20.60/hr + $2/hr Temp. Additional Pay
Shift: Wed., Thur., Fri. and alteranting Sat. (6:00pm-3:30am)
Reports To: Program Manager, Team Lead Supervisor

SUMMARY: Shelter staff will engage with, check in on, and manage a case load of vulnerable individuals in response to the COVID-19 virus with the goal to help them attain housing. With that in mind, staff should understand that they will possibly come into contact with individuals who have COVID-19.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process paperwork and forms as required by Do Good and the JOHS.
Maintain effective communication with the Team and Emergency Hotel Program Manager.
Attend supervision, staff supervisions, staff meetings & any appropriate community professional meetings.
Engage with individuals who are experiencing houselessness and have possibly come into contact with or are carrying the COVID-19 virus who are particularly vulnerable through maintaining an assigned case load.
Assist in delivery of hygiene kits and essential supplies to individuals as a part of assigned caseload.
Follow steps outlined by Do Good and the JOHS on engaging with their assigned caseload and reporting on the health and well-being of that caseload.
Assist the assigned caseload in finding sustainable housing.
Participate in compliance, quality assurance and quality improvement activities as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Adhere to all state and federal privacy and security regulations applicable to the program, and to Do Good Multnomah’s policies and agreements regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security.
Employee and participant advocacy.
Source and retain community partnerships
Develop innovative programming.
Assist in management of food box program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
.Understanding of Housing First and Harm Reduction models.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, TB test, and background check.
Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and clients with diverse ethnic backgrounds, religious views, political aff iliation, cultural backgrounds, life-styles, and sexual orientations and treat each individual with respect and dignity.
