Dog walker Full Time

Professional dog walking & training company requires help with dog walking. We are a small, friendly team of walkers/trainers and we are looking to add another member to our team who has experience handling dogs.

What does this job involve?
 

• Picking up and dropping off dogs from their homes on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
• Walking them on and off leash at various dog friendly parks and beaches. Our groups are of up to four dogs per person.
• Taking photos on your phone of the dogs which will be posted on Facebook.
• Face-to-face customer service.
• Company vehicle to use during working hours (must be able to drive a MANUAL VAN) or have your own appropriate vehicle to use for work. The work vehicles are only registered for drivers over 25 years of age.
• Casual positioning around 20 hours per week (must be able to work Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday this is non negotiable) More hours are available when other staff members are away.
• Happy to work in all types of weather.

What we need from you? And what information you need to provide.

• State whether you are a permanent resident or visa holder (what type of visa you hold)
• Have a clean driving record and full licence (how many years have you held a manual license?) 
• To be fit, strong, energetic, active and injury free.
• Naturally love dogs and be comfortable around all breeds
• State what experience you have with dogs.
• Police checked/References.
• Able to work independently on a day-to-day basis.
• Excellent customer service/verbal communication skills (must be able to speak English)
• The suburb in which you reside (must live on or near to the northern beaches of Sydney)

Preference will be given to applicants:

• With experience walking/caring for dogs other than their own pets.
• Familiar with and can easily navigate the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
