Job Title: Field Collector (a.k.a. Poop Scooper)

Position type: Part-time

Territories: Barrington, IL area

Work Days: Must be available to work at least 3 days a week. Can work weekends as well.

Work Hours: The work can be completed at any time of the assigned day as long as there is daylight.

Compensation: Pays $24 – $30/hr. This is a 1099 position. No taxes will be immediately taken from your paycheck. You will be an independent contractor.

Job Summary: The snow is about to melt soon and business is about to get very busy. We have an immediate need for field collectors (a.k.a. Poop Scoopers) with spring cleans. Spring cleans are were we remove the dog waste from customer’s yards and dispose of it one-time. Most yards will contain enough dog waste to fill (2 or more) 13 gallon kitchen trash bags. Please DO NOT underestimate how difficult this job can be. If you have a lot of energy, don’t mind the physicality, and enjoy being out doors, this is job is perfect for you! The flexibility of the schedule is also another huge plus!

As a field collector you will travel from customer to customer collecting dog waste utilizing a lobby pan and shovel. This is a TEMPORARY position with the opportunity to turn into a permanent part-time position. All tools and equipment can be provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Drive to assigned customer locations and collect dog waste
2. Complete houses in the mobile app
3. Dispose of collected dog waste via assigned location

Position Requirements:

1. Must have excellent eye sight to spot dog waste
2. Must have experience laboring outside
3. Valid driver’s license and car insurance
4. Pass a criminal background check
5. Have reliable transportation
6. Basic technological skills including ability to send and receive email, use a mobile phone for calling/texting, and GPS for navigation.
7. Must be willing to work in all weather including HOT; COLD, RAIN, SNOW, etc…

Education and Experience: This position requires at least a High School Diploma. No prior dog waste removal experience is required, however it is preferred. Must be independent, energetic, reliable, accountable, and have good communication skills.

Pay: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour
