Software Engineer – Javascript – Sydney Office – Permanent Full Time

Who You Are
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Seekers technology team, specifically focused on the development of the consumer experience of development properties and new house and land.

This position will work with other stakeholders in the platform backend and agent solution teams to complete development and product projects.

Must have

• 2+ years experience working with React, HTML and CSS
• 2 years experience working with Node.js
• Be familiar working in an agile environment
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI etc).
• .NET Core experience highly desirable.
• Experience in maintaining and operating cloud product is highly desirable
• GraphQL experience is desirable.

In a typical day you should expect to:

• 
  Implement solutions for Domain development and house and land properties across both frontend and backend technologies
• Write clean, readable and performant code.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure a solid, bug-free code base.
• Participate in sprint planning.
• Code review other team members code on a daily basis.
• Attend meetings and help solve problems.
• Help and mentor junior engineers when needed.
• Work in a team environment.
• Assist and support the Infrastructure team in operating the production infrastructure.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance for other team members.
