Overall Tasks

• Build up automated test coverage and maintain existing automation test frameworks

• Ensure repeatability and traceability of testing

• Collect and report quality metrics, bugs and errors  from test execution

• Work with developers to design specific testing strategies for features being developed and automate them

• Create comprehensive test plans, design test cases; execute and automate them

• Support engineering organizations in  troubleshooting or addressing issues with applications and dev/test environments

• Work across different departments to ensure testing needs and tools are met

• Provide testing sign offs for release builds and report results to stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of solid software QA experience

• Solid experience in API testing including test automation (Supertest, etc)

• Experience with mobile UI automation tools such Appium

• Experience with programming language such as Javascript or Python

• Experience in testing SQL databases

• Exposure to testing iOS, Android and/or Web with multiple browsers

• Effectively understand and translate business needs into product requirements with clear, concise and testable test cases

• Experience working in an Agile team

• Experience in maintaining and improving in QA process flows and best practices

• Exposure to testing Machine Learning and BigData platforms

• Able to work both independently and within a collaborative environment

• Energy and passion for your work, a sense of fun and enjoyment for what can be achieved

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including conversing with both end-users and technical teams across all levels within the organisation

• Strong reporting and problem solving skills

Bonus/Nice to Have

• Experience with SQL databases

• Exposure to Cloud Services (AWS preferred)

• Exposure to log monitoring (Cloudwatch preferred)

• Experience with code versioning (Github, Bitbucket, Gitlab, etc.)

• Exposure to DevOps/CI/CD processes

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $65,000.00 per year
