About the Opportunity:
As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will work closely with the GM Reputation and Business Excellence and the other Marketing & Communications team members to boost Downer’s online reputation and through leadership within the construction, infrastructure, and utilities sector.
You will oversee the production and execution of B2B digital marketing communications across a range of online marketing channels to drive brand awareness. The role includes managing social media channels, website, delivering our digital marketing strategy, and optimise the digital ecosystem ensuring the right platforms and tools are in place.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding and exposure to brand marketing and ideally 3+ years digital marketing experience. You will also be an “all-rounder” creative/strategic/analytical and technically capable in digital. Driven and autonomous, you will have a “get things done” attitude and be a key team player within our brand and wider marketing team.
Day to day you will:
Manage social media channels effectively to enhance reputation and brand awareness
Ensure engaging business stories are planned and provided for multi-channels use (Social Media/Website) to promote Downer New Zealand
Collaborate with the wider marketing communications team regarding content programmes and seasonal planning across digital platforms
Run digital campaigns to support our recruitment effort
Use SEO to enhance the Downer New Zealand awareness
Maintain the website with relevant and compelling content that increases traffic
Measuring digital performance, assessing and optimising
Collaborate with our partner agencies
Use your creative license to make judgement decisions on artwork
You will work with customer data platforms, google analytics and Dynamics

Bring your collaborative and engaging approach, and your natural problem-solving abilities. You’ll be someone who uses their initiative and has excellent communications skills, coupled with prior experience in a similar operational environment.
