Dr. Spex Vision Care
The front desk medical receptionist represents Dr. Spex Vision Care to every patient who walks in the office or calls. A cheerful voice, positive personality, excellent customer service skills, and an eye for detail are preferred. A detailed job description will be available upon interview.
This applicant must use professional and proper grammar at all times. Experience working in an Optometric practice is preferred but not mandantory.
This applicant should be proficient in using a multi-line telephone system and answer all incoming lines as quickly and efficiently as possible. Experience using a computer and EHR/EMR software is preferred. This person would also be responsible, but not limited to coordinating incoming and outgoing patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage’s, and other related duties as assigned
This position is in a fast-paced team environment which requires a positive attitude about the policies, procedures and philosophies of Dr. Spex Vision Care.
Qualifications and experience in the following preferred:
- Strong communication skills
- Experience using a multi-line telephone system
- Proficient use of computers
- Ability to use credit card, postage, copier and fax machines
- Experience updating patient information for patient records
Full-time benefits include paid vacation, paid sick time, health insurance stipend.

Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
