Job Description

• Monitor ethics and compliance reporting systems to assist the Ethics and Corporate Compliance Manager with obtaining necessary information for reporting such matters to the Compliance Committee, the President of Dragados USA and/or the Board of Directors, as needed. This includes monitoring ethics helpline reporting, monitoring compliance email accounts, monitoring third party due diligence systems, and monitoring conflict of interest disclosure systems. Requesting additional information from employees and business partners and maintaining documentation of communication within the systems.
• Ensure coordination with other company departments, including but not limited to, operational areas, legal, human resources, information technologies, financial functions, to serve as a resource on ethics and compliance issues and systems.
• Ensure effective implementation of the Compliance Program through the development of professional and clear communication.
• Assist the Ethics and Corporate Compliance Manager with implementing and enforcing the Code of Conduct and other compliance policies, through ongoing education, communication and training.
• Assist in the drafting of policies and procedures, internal controls, compliance auditing and monitoring solutions, conducting investigations, and suggesting corrective measures.
• Ensure that the Compliance Program as well as, the appropriate standards, practices, and internal controls, including the Code of Conduct, are adopted, published, and explained to those affected to ensure their understanding and implementation.
• Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, develop/implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and ensure that an effective system exists for assessing, addressing, and communicating the Compliance Program’s standards and guidance in compliance risk areas, including training and other communications media.
• Assist in preparing, in cooperation with other departments, comprehensive management reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing large quantities of data.
• Research regulatory risks, document analysis, and communicate recommended or required action.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on compliance-related matters.
• Support the development, implementation maintenance, and evolution of the compliance program.

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field (accounting, human resources, law)
• 2+ years’ experience in ethics and compliance

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Interested in process improvement
• Willing to adapt quickly to quick changes in direction
• Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills

Preferred

• Experience with compliance software systems
• JD desirable but not required

• Advanced analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interpret regulations and laws and to provide analysis
• Demonstrated strong project management skills
• High degree of creativity and judgment
