An exciting opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated Account Manager to manage and grow the DNP HNH (Human Nutrition and Health) business in New Zealand by ensuring continued development and demand of the company’s products and services through promotion, market research and customer support.
The Challenge
The main responsibilities of this role are, but not limited to;
- Overall account management and technical support functions for the DNP New Zealand HNH (Human Nutrition and Health) premix, lipids and straights business
- Establish strong customer relationships across the market segment, while developing commercial opportunities, and value propositions, and leading project/program activities to deliver and capture value.
- Develop and maintain key account plans for assigned customers.
- Set sales budgets, using SAP system on a yearly basis.
- Achieve and if possible, exceed Sales budget.
- Commercial Management and responsibility for customer pricing in conjunction with commercial team colleagues.
- Collaboration with colleagues (e.g. Logistics, Customer Service, Credit Management) to ensure prompt and optimal service to customers (processing of orders, deliveries, debt collections).
- Assess the potential in the marketplace and have the foresight to proactively spot gaps in the market.
- Providing unparalleled technical services to customers is crucial to retaining and developing businesses. These services include technical advice on the proper handling of our product forms in customers’ processing, stability data in different product applications, recipe formulating advice to mock-up sample presentation, etc.
The Ideal
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements…
- 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in a similar role within the Human Nutrition and Health Industry.
- Autonomous and self-driven with a passion for sales, a proven negotiator with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Have outstanding verbal and communication skills, with proven ability to influence, negotiate, strategize and make quick, sound decisions.
- Insightful sales skills, able to connect supplier’s unique strength to customer’s existing/upcoming pain-points.
- Experience in SAP preferred not essential.
- Full driver’s license essential.
- Full working rights in New Zealand.
