Dunedin Public Libraries are seeking a Library Assistant to work at the Port Chalmers Library and Service Centre. You will be responsible for assisting customers in their use of the Libraries registering new members, cash receipting, shelving returned items, dealing with collection reports and facilitating library events.
You must be able to use your initiative, have excellent literacy skills and general knowledge, be extremely flexible and work both independently and as a member of the respective teams. The ability to assist customers of all ages and cultural backgrounds in a professional manner is essential as are strong computer and cash handling skills.

Salary range: $46,118 to $53,050 (pro-rated)
15 Hours per week, to be worked as follows:
There may be opportunities for additional hours if required from time to time.
