FULL TIME ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM-4PM

Starting Pay: $23.25/hour

Sign on Bonus

$300 after 30 days

$ 500 after 60 days

$ 700 after 90 days

THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE POSITION

SUMMARY OF FUNCTION:
Will receive and register clients or visitors, fields and relays incoming calls. Coordinates incoming and outgoing mail. May order office supplies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fields telephone calls, operates internal paging system.
• Takes and receives messages for supervisors and management
• Greets and directs clients and applicants, ensures visitors are signed in and announces their arrival to appropriate party
• Sorts, screens and distributes incoming mail and faxes as well as process outgoing mail.
• Orders office supplies as needed or requested
• Maintains copy/fax machine
• Point of contact for Janitorial and Vending services
• Assist Plant Manager and other departments as needed
• Additional duties as required

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma required
• Minimum of two years experience as receptionist or administrative assistant
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office) required
• Phone skills: Multi-line phone, transferring calls and paging

OCCUPATIONAL AND/OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Requires the use of rational and logical analysis skills with the ability to withstand frequent interruptions to work flow
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a professional manner
• Ability to work independently
