Dynamic Map Platform North America Looking for Software Developer Intern at Livonia, MI Full Time
Position Summary The Software Developer intern will be responsible for working as part of a team to design, build, test and document assigned new software functionality for Dynamic Map Platform.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Developing new and existing applications which are integrated with database technologies
- Work under the direct supervision to perform maintenance on existing software products
- Work with Software Engineering staff to understand and learn to resolve software problems
- Participate in user interface design
Skills, Qualifications And Competencies
- Pursuing a four-year degree or MS degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Previous exposure to, or development experience with, C# language within the .NET framework desired
- Knowledge of relational databases, Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Strong communication and technical skills
- Ability to work on a team towards a common goal

- Office environment
- Long periods sitting in front of a computer
Assets
- Experience with test driven development
- Experience with continuous integration environments
- Unix-like development environments
- Geospatial/Geomatics subject domain knowledge
