We are hiring a Technical Writer to join our team! The individual will support our client in the development, review, revision, and quality control of all types of written documentation. The individual will produce a high volume and quality of policy and procedure documentation.
Duties:
Coordinate with the client for the development of a Quality Management Plan inclusive of a quality manual, quality procedures, and any necessary forms to support quality records
Creating and updating various project’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Conducting research and analyses relating to existing or required policies and procedures.
Drafting content for Statements of Work (SOW).
Creating and uploading documentation to SharePoint site weekly and produces reports.
Conducting field observations and interviews relating to internal policies and procedures.
Consulting with Subject Matter Experts to ensure technical accuracy and overall quality of written materials.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum level of 3 years of experience in technical writing, preferably for infrastructure planning and/or engineering projects;
Experience in organizing technical information to document standards, rules, SOPs, and handbooks;
Background in quality management and quality documentation;
Experience working with Controlled Documentation;
Ability to extract information from key stakeholders, and to communicate the information in written form;
Strong skills in MS Word and experience with SharePoint Library Management;
Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills; and
Experience working under tight deadlines.
