We are looking to recruit an exceptional individual to join our dynamic team who will lead the administration of our Race Equality in Education programme helping us to achieve the challenging education targets set by Ealing’s Race Equality Commission.
This is a new role so the successful person will work closely with the lead officer to develop new administrative and finance systems to support the implementation of the programme.
If you would like the opportunity to work in a role that will really make a difference to the lives of children and young people from diverse backgrounds and, particularly those of Black heritage, you will need to have:
- A commitment to race equality, including an understanding of the barriers to race equality and approaches to address equality, diversity and inclusion
- A high level of skills in administration, co-ordination and organisation of a range of tasks, events and projects
- Excellent communication skills for a variety of audiences and communication channels
- An understanding of how schools operate and an ability to work with a wide range of staff in schools.
This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
