Job description
We are looking to recruit highly motivated, experienced nursery officers to join our friendly and professional staff team at Windmill Children’s Centre. You will find this role challenging, stimulating and rewarding.
The post requires the practitioner to have a sound knowledge of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage, excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
The successful candidate must have worked with children with a range of needs and be dedicated, passionate and committed to achieving the very highest standards of teaching and learning. We want individuals who can see the possibilities for our exceptional children and have the energy and enthusiasm to inspire and motivate every child to reach their potential.
You must have substantive post qualifying experience, minimum NVQ L3 or relevant qualification equivalent and have had some experience of working with children with additional needs.
Successful applicant will be expected to take 20 days annual leave at fixed times when the centre is closed and to work 35 hours per week.
This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
