Toka Tū Ake EQC is an Aotearoa (NZ) Crown entity that invests in natural disaster research and education as well as providing natural disaster insurance to residential property owners. Our mission is to reduce the impact on people and property when a natural disaster occurs while administering the natural disaster fund.

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Communications Advisor | Pūkenga Ratonga Kiritaki to join our team and support us to partner, communicate and engage both within Toka Tū Ake EQC and externally.
We’re seeking an expert advisor who can support our organisation to communicate and engage on strategic priorities, initiatives and operations.
This role will contribute to activities across a range of situations and platforms and requires a confident, engaging manner with excellent interpersonal skills to quickly build effective working relationships across all levels. Your success will be measured by your ability to take ownership and deliver a high standard of work, effectively engage with stakeholders and deliver practical solutions and support.
A values-based approach to your work is a must and together we’ll drive a consistent Toka Tū Ake EQC narrative to maintain and build our reputation, credibility, legitimacy and license to operate as a Crown entity. You will be a credible and trusted person who is actively sought out for their advice, influence, and collaborative approach to health, safety, security, and wellbeing business performance.
