Permanent Elective Home Education Officer: Teaching and Learning Provision – Hastings and Rother

Do you have a background in working in education and have an interest in supporting children who are electively home educated?
ISEND are looking for a permanent Elective Home Education Support & Advice Officer to work in the Hastings and Rother area. The post involves providing advice, guidance and support for families who have chosen to home educate their children.
You will be working as a part of a small team. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with parents. You will be ascertaining the suitability of education provision parents are delivering and providing advice and signposting. This post will involve doing home visits, running a drop-in centre and leading on a service development strategic project.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
