Lockport. Eastern Niagara Healthcare System. Registered Nurse – Chemical Dependency. PT, FT, Per Diem available. Eastern Niagara Hospital is currently seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse for our Chemical Dependency Unit. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: The Chemical Dependency Staff Nurse is a member of the Chemical Dependency multidisciplinary treatment team and has the primary responsibility for the provision of nursing care on the Chemical Dependency Rehabilitation Center. She/He provides a wide scope of assessment, educational, and patient care activity within the medical, psychosocial, and interpersonal areas of the patient’s individual treatment plan. Through interpersonal skills helps to establish and maintain a therapeutic treatment milieu wherein the patient can learn and implement an alcohol and drug free lifestyle. QUALIFICATIONS: Current New York State RN License; and 1 year Med/Surg and Behavioral Health experience; required.
