Eaton’s ES AMER HQ MFGSC division is currently seeking a Quality Tech Lead.
The hourly rate for this position is 22.50 per hour. We are able to offer location assistance of up to $,5000 for applicants residing with the United States.

What you’ll do:
Eaton’s Electrical Sector is opening a new Distribution Center in South Dallas, TX and is currently seeking a Quality Team Lead to join our team. This position is 20 minutes south of downtown Dallas.
The Quality Team Lead will be responsible for supporting the Quality department for tactical and strategic engagements to resolve internal and external issues while maintaining a high priority focus on customer satisfaction. The Quality team led will also be responsible for supporting continuous improvement initiatives and projects

In this function you will:
• Work with various areas of the distribution center acting as subject matter expert for quality assurance and control.
• Oversee quality team for inbound and outbound operations and resolve or escalate issues from the team.
• Research answers and correct minor day-to-day operations problems and questions
• Issue Quality Alerts and cycle counts when needed
• Provide temporary supervision as required if Supervisor is away
• Support with the implementation of EQMS AND ISO 9001 certifications, AS9100
• Manage warranty claims, verifies inventory locations for discrepancies to verify claims, and makes inventory adjustments when needed. Review claims to recommend actions for resolution and improvements
• Manage and track the scrapping of material and drive actions for improvement
• Support on the job training for the Quality department
• Flex to another department as needed
• Operate powered industrial truck equipment

Qualifications:
Qualifications – Internal
Required (Basic) Qualification s:
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 4-year experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Prior Experience in Quality Control and or Assurance.
• Relocation benefit is being offered for this position. .
• No documented coachings within the previous 6 months (Internal).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Preferred qualifications:
• Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution
• Previous experience with quality internal audit and or ISO 9001 certifications
• Previous team lead/ leadership experience
• Previous experience working with Eaton and knowledge of the Eaton Leadership Model
• WMS, SAP, Q-pulse, Customer 360 and Microsoft Office experience 4+ years of experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment
• 1+ years of experience operating PIT equipment (stand up, reach truck, cherry picker)
• 1+ years of experience operating in QC or QA equipment (stand up, reach truck, cherry picker)
