Ebenezer Hiring for Server/Culinary Assistant at Minneapolis Full Time

Overview

• Starting wage of $15.10 per hour

We are looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant. This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Assisted Living Community. This food services schedule includes;

• 16 hours every two weeks

• Part time day shifts; 7AM-2PM

• Every other weekend & holiday rotation

Opened in 2020, the Pillars of Prospect Park is conveniently located off the light rail transit station and close to the metro bus near the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, MN. The Pillars of Prospect Park features 133 Independent living, 106 assisted living and 44 memory care apartments. Two buildings, one six-story and one ten-story, make up this vibrant community. Responsibilities/Job Description

• Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting

• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction with their meal service

• Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies

• Assists with meal prep and special events

• Provides kitchen support when needed with dishwashing and cleaning of floors

• Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately

Qualifications

• No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service setting

• Excellent customer service skills and aptitude, teamwork and positive attitude required

• Desire to work with seniors

• Ability to interact empathetically and communicate effectively with residents and staff

Vaccination Update

As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the patients and communities we serve, all Ebenezer employees will be required to receive both an annual flu vaccination and the COVID-19 vaccination series. Current employees must have completed both vaccination schedules on or before January 4, 2022.

Any new hires who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose (if receiving Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) within 4 weeks of their start date. Annual flu vaccinations are also required before the employment start date for employees who begin employment during the flu season. Accommodations requests will be reviewed on an individual basis.
