About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for two Student Support Officers to join Student Service as a key member of our Student Support team. You will focus on maximising student retention, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality, and streamlined approach to supporting students who are struggling while at, or who are risk of leaving the University. You will also streamline and develop processes to enable students at risk to be identified at the earliest possible opportunity.

About You

As Student Support Officer, you will have:

• experience in managing a demanding and complex caseload, whilst operating within set timeframes.
• excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• excellent organisational, prioritisation and planning skills
• personal resilience
• the ability to use your own initiative to resolve complex problems by applying creative and innovative solutions to support student success
• self-motivation and flexibility
• the ability to be pro-active and forward thinking
