Education & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s required (any engineering or computer science field)
• Master’s degree in Engineering would not be overqualified
• PhD or above would be overqualified

Technical Skills

(Required)

• Skilled in at least one software language (ex python, Matlab, C++, etc)
• Some experience with and interest in developing skills related to analyzing data/data analytics

(Desired)

• Ability to use data to make engineering decisions
• Experience using SQL, Python, and Tableau tools for analysis and visualization of data (proficiency in Matlab, C++, etc would be acceptable but need to be strong in those)
• Experience in machine controls development
• On-machine or lab data collection and analysis experience
• Desire to learn new data science tools and techniques
• Experience working on upper or lower drivetrain components (transmissions, torque converters, axles, etc.) or engines

Soft Skills

(Required)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
