Right now we are looking for a Finance Program Manager to join our growing team. The primary mission of the Finance Transformation team is to support and drive Finance and cross functional programs to achieve best in class data, processes, and systems.
Key Responsibilities and Skills Required
You are responsible for supporting projects focused on critical initiatives for the Finance organization. The role requires you to be very detail oriented and passionate about going deep, as well as going wide. You must connect the dots to ensure conflicting interests are addressed while complimentary opportunities are enhanced. You will demonstrate the ability to perform data analysis in assigned projects while keeping in sight the overarching, larger business capability.
You will support sophisticated, cross functional programs aligning people, processes, and systems to achieve a successful outcome. You should be a creative, smart problem solver scaling steep learning curves quickly. Working on highly sophisticated problems, you are asked to gain insight into the strategic issues which are forefront in the minds of the executive leadership team.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to be successful in an unstructured, team oriented environment. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate strong leadership skills, with an ability to influence and lead cross functionally.
You are required to possess finance, system implementation, process reengineering, project management and communications skills, demonstrate the ability to influence and effectively lead key relationships and complicated situations in a fast-paced business organization.
You will drive and support programs with partners in the organization to gather requirements, provide advice of inter dependencies and impacts, facilitate process design and re-design, develop solution, execute approved plans, and promote capability adoption.
Other expectation includes:
Provide impactful business decision support to management and operational teams that enable deeper understanding of key business drivers.
Resolve process, system, and data integrity issues ensuring cross functional alignment. Lean in relationships with broader finance team to promote adoption of standard methodologies and knowledge sharing.
Work strategically, develop and implement continuous improvement, and lead change.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve timely project objectives and goals
Support systems, data, and reporting efficiency improvement initiatives across Finance. Ensure data integrity and accuracy to support financial reporting and analytics
Drive program objectives – provide program management to define project plans, lead implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation and communications for program/process rollout and ongoing support.
Scale services and tools – design processes and procedures that scale with the business’ growth in volume, complexity, and global geographic dispersion.
Define key performance indicators – create evaluation methods and service level agreements for core programs and processes, and track delivery against program objectives.
Collaborate and form relationships with system and business owners globally to ensure process excellence and the highest degree of controllership.
Negotiate efficient and reliable processes and policies across partner teams to systematically eliminate dependencies and defects.
Work cross-organizationally and functionally to identify key opportunities in process, technical, and human interfaces and developing and implementing plans to capitalize on those opportunities and measure and supervise success and impacts.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
12+ years of experience in program management, cross functional team collaboration, and project delivery
B.A. or B.S. in Business Administration or Information Technology with a focus on Business applications
Proficient understanding in the order to cash transaction flow, bookings reporting, sales reporting, and data reconciliation.
Prior experience with accounting, finance operations, or sales finance is desirable.
Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a complementary team and influence/inspire change across functional and business boundaries
Tried ability to take charge of sophisticated tasks with minimal direction and develop new strategies and new ways of approaching business challenges independently
Continuous improvement mentality; ability to suggest and implement standard methodologies
Experienced in leading end-to-end projects from requirement gathering to business acceptance testing to deployment and hyper-care
Strong process orientation, including process mapping and documentation. Project management, planning, and organization skills, including ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Experience in identifying and mitigating operational and/or project risks
Proven track record to meet deadlines, prioritize quickly, organize team dynamics, and deliver results with a consistent track record of managing deliverables from multiple parties to meet ambitious deadlines.
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated in a fast-paced, often ambiguous and constantly evolving environment
Exceptional communication skills and social skills; ability to present to senior leadership
Ability to create a compelling business case in writing
Plus for any Project Management Certifications (i.e. PMP, CSM, etc.)
