• Full-time, Permanent contract with a minimum of 40 hours guaranteed per week
• Monday – Friday and may be required to participate in a standby roster.

About the Role

We currently have excited opportunity for Trades Assistant in our Distribution Customer Delivery Business Unit to provide a Distribution trade’s service, covering the full range of tasks expected of a qualified distribution linesman.

This is an opportunity to work with our team of industry experts to carry out routine work associated with the installation and maintenance of distribution equipment to support the electrical work to be performed by a qualified tradesman, e.g. cable pulling and trench digging.

About you

If you enjoy being outside in all weather conditions and looking for a challenging role with great job satisfaction,then come and join our amazing team. To be considered, you will have some or all of the below:

• Hold a current NZ Driver’s licence.
• Experience with crane operation and Augers are preferred.
• Knowledge of safety requirements pertaining to the work.
• Excavator license and experience with Cable Handling will be to your advantage.
