Position Overview
The Business Systems Junior Software Developer is responsible for providing user and technical support and advice to the business for the EOS-DS PLM systems. This role requires an understanding of the EOS-DS business systems, processes and procedures and how this interface across the organisation. This role is designed to support the use, development and upgrade of ARAS PLM.
The Business Systems Junior Software Developer ensures the integrity of the ARAS Innovator Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system for EOS Defence Systems, ensuring the PLM meets the requirements of EOS Defence Systems programs, functions, and end users.
Primary Duties:
1. Provide level 1 and level 2 support directly to users of the PLM system;
2. Create, manage and maintain the PLM support knowledge base;
3. Create, manage and maintain any supporting user system documentation for ARAS Innovator PLM, including video training and procedural documentation;
4. Create, manage, maintain and deliver a user training plan for the Aras Innovator PLM system;
5. Development of test plans and test cases, functional testing, issue resolution and user acceptance testing for ARAS Innovator PLM;
6. Work with other disciplines to ensure cohesive and complete system requirements are met;
7. Assist in undertaking business analyses in support of product development activities for ARAS Innovator PLM;
8. Provide input into the expansion of the PLM system within the organisation;
9. Assist in the development of solutions within the PLM system.
10. Detailed design, build, and support testing of applications, including root cause analysis and proposal of alternate resolutions to technical issues;
11. All other duties required to meet business requirements;
12. Other duties as directed by the Configuration Manager.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or engineering.
2. Post graduate qualifications in Engineering highly desirable.
Experience
1. Minimum 1 – 5 years in similar role.
2. Experience in supporting Engineering applications including PLM tools (ARAS Innovator)
3. Experience in coding in one or more of the following desirable:
a. Javascript
b. C#
c. CSS
4. Good understanding of enterprise system testing and support.
5. Understanding of PLM fundamentals desirable.
6. Experience in Defence sector desirable.
