Electronic Arts’ Firemonkeys Studio in Melbourne is regarded throughout the industry as a leader in delivering high-quality, engaging games on iOS and Android. We release new meaningful updates on a regular basis for our live mobile games such as Real Racing 3, The Sims FreePlay, Need for Speed, and The Sims Mobile
We are looking for dedicated Software Engineers/Programmers to join us in developing AAA mobile games. You will work with other creative developers and report to a lead engineer. We have multiple roles available for this position!
Key Responsibilities
- Programming game engines and development tools using C++/C#
Programming within all areas of game development, including:
- Tools
- Math and 3D graphics
- Game engines
- Special effects
- Integrating external SDKs
- Testing and Automation
Qualifications
- 8 or more years of experience in Software Engineering
- C++ skills are a must-have for this role
- You will have worked with and extended existing code
- Write and maintain robust, extensible, testable code for use by multiple clients
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work/portfolio experience
- Programming experience in the games industry will be highly valued
