Scope:
Identify, analyze and ensure economic transactions are recorded align with Global financial Policies and GAAP. Perform and facilitate analysis and account reconciliations required.

• Coordinate monthlyquarterlyyear end closing activities for Lilly del Caribe (LdC) in conjunction with Global Business Solution (GBS).
• Lead Trial Balance monthly discussions with local management and the GBS.
• Lead, coordinate and monitor all closing activities. Communicate due dates, schedule meetings and monitor performance through performance metrics – (month and year).
• Facilitate LdC external audit and prepare any financial reporting required for Tax or Local statutory requirements.
• Define, analyze and resolve business problems within SAP and its associated systems
• Coordination and Execution External Audit with external auditors
• Prepare financial statements with all supporting documentation
• Participate in the following Tax related processes:
  • Determine Income Tax Quarterly Estimated payment based on latest Income Statement Forecast approved and submit for Tax consultant approval.
  • Prepare schedules and Accounting reports needed for Lilly del Caribe annual Tax returns: Income Taxes, Municipal Tax License and Property Taxes.
  • Support year-end Tax deferral entry recording needed.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
• Three years (3) of experience in Finance
• Certified Public Accountant (a must)

Additional Requirements:

• Bilingual Spanish/English
• Ability to establish effective interpersonal relationships
• Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision and prioritizing to meet deadlines
• Exercise sound judgment when making decisions
• Analysis of data and trends to make recommendations
