We are looking for a Data Entry Specialist to input information from insurance companies into our local software. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that are easily accessible through a digital database. this role plays an important role in the financial wellbeing of the company and requires extreme attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Regularly communicate with Insurance Companies to follow up on requested or corrected paperwork.
• Organized individual ensuring follow up dates are completed and deadlines are met
• Transfer data from emails into computer files or database systems
• Type in data provided directly from patients and caregivers
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents
• Update existing data
• Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested

Skills

• Proven experience as data entry clerk
• Basic understanding of databases
• Good command of English both oral and customer service skills
• Great attention to detail
• High school degree or equivalent’

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour
