This is a full-time, salary non-exempt position. The pay will be negotiated at the time of interview.
– Schedule and conduct New Hire Orientation with hourly associates.
– Schedule plant meetings, meeting luncheons, etc.
– Coordinate company events such as: employee Christmas dinner, flu shots, biometrics, Wellness Fair, hearing testing, etc.
– Prepare and maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.
– Maintain and update human resource documents such as manning reports, HR Metrics Report, etc.
– Assist HR Manager in plant and customer audits.
– Order/coordinate catered meals for meeting luncheons.
– Assist associates in completing various forms such as enrollment, direct deposit, etc.
– Liaison with the corporate office and Geneva associates.
– File miscellaneous personnel records and company reports.
– Monitor merit increases for hourly associates.
– Track hourly/salary attendance, vacation and training information.
– Work closely with local temp agency in filling temporary positions within the plant.
– Process/maintain timeslips for temporary associates.
– Process personnel changes, corrections and time approvals
– Coordinate payroll corrections, retros, rate adjustments, safety shoe reimbursements, etc. with payroll department.
– Participate in plant safety audits and Safety Committee.
– Attend necessary training seminars and lectures in an effort to maintain current knowledge of EEO, FMLA, ADA, etc.
– Handle confidential documentation discretely.
